'morning,
We went out shopping yesterday, for a dress. I already had a simple black strapless dress, not all the way to the floor and wearable for different occasions. But they wanted me to look for a different dress, which was ok with me:) First we went to a shop called lulu, with some second hand dresses. They also had lulu-fashion. Which were really cute tops.
After that we went to several malls and saw thousands of dresses, and none of 'm was me. The girls tried to make me try barbie and princess dresses which were soooooooooooo pink! We had so much much making fun of the dresses(Joey, Jakob and me), although the girls couldn't appreciate it at all times. We also went shopping for earrings, but they didn't have earrings that are big enough. Tina and the girls: How about this one? Joey: Not big enough. Think they're getting to know me:P
Eventually I bought a pair of earrings which are very sparkly and will match my braclet (bought a very blingbling bracelet down south) and even a dress.
We went to another dillards at the end of the day and they had two dresses I liked (out of hundreds of dresses) a ivory colored one and an old pink colored one with beads all over it in a certain print. I liked both, and they both looked ok on me. But I couldn't decide which one I would buy. The girls liked the ivory white one the best (since that was most like the cinderella dresses) Tina both of 'm, and the boys the pink one. Jim called joey so I asked him what dress to buy, he said: well since you're not getting married yet I would say the pink one, and Tina can make some jewerly that go's with it. (I described the white one as a wedding dress..looked a bit like it) Finally I bought the pink one, and we tried to find some shoes. But were all so tired that we went home. One the way back we got some Mac Donalds'milkshakes. WOW the mediumsize is big...
We went out in service as well yersterdaymorning. We haven't had a 'big' meeting yet, only the bookstudy so I haven't seen the whole congregation yet. The brothers and sisters at the bookstudy are all very nice, and just like their brothers and sisters in the south trying to say my name the Dutch way.. and.. failing. But They've got two more weeks to try. There are a couple of girls in the congregation, Caithlin who'll turn 16 soon, Tirza who's 15 and Megan who's 16. Keera and Kelsy are all about them, and look up to 'm as if they were their big sisters, which is really cute. They're nice girls, I hope we can hang out in the time I'm here.
And now I'm not feeling very well, but I'll be better soon..I hope.
Thanks for all your comments:)
The longer I'm in the States the more vague the Netherlands become.. But I won't forget you and we'll see each other in approximately 6 weeks.
